June 10th

I was in a large school where everyone was made to follow each other up flights and flights of stairs. We were supposed to be in alphabetical order but that wasn't working out very well. We got to the top of the building and there was a huge spaceship looking thing. It was like another world. It was all greys and greens and browns like some weird science fiction movie and everyone was walking around like a zombie doing whatever this weird alien boss guy told them to do. He wasn't actually an alien; he was more like an ancient man of the army. He had this uniform all made of brown metal and he had this huge hair which dangled down, dreadlocks, onto his back. He was rather angry and everyone did what he said. He told them that earth as we know it is destroyed and that we must live in the skies for ever.

Everyone had been hypnotized except for myself and I was a rather angry man who was intent on saving my girlfriend and everyone else from this life of thoughtless subservience. He was making the people into members of his army one by one and it was impossible to really go anywhere but where he had you stationed. There were these arms that came down off the ship (which was really just a tall building) and people controlled them and watched what was going on inside from them. The weird boss guy was taking a break and going up onto the roof and I followed him up there because I was the only person on whom the hypnotism did not work. He thought that made me strong and wanted to make me his assistant. He was making me all sorts of promises and he promised to tell me his biggest secret if I would join him.

So, I followed him up onto the roof and he had already given me a sword. He was waltzing around giving some dramatic speech about how humans are unnecessary and their whole lives are just little games that he could play with his chess boards. We looked down onto what I had thought was the earth he and his minions had destroyed but it all looked normal to me and he just had everyone hypnotized. He turned around and as soon as he did so I swung my sword and made a perfectly clean swipe of his neck with a little bit of his left shoulder. He continued his speech for a minute without realizing what had happened but he began to feel funny and so he turned around to me with an angry and suspicious look in his eyes. I was standing a bit above him on the jagged roof of the ship and so I kicked my foot out and pushed his head off of his body. His eyes widened and he fell over dead.

Next thing you know I am back on earth in a movie theatre as myself. I call my girlfriend who was my girlfriend on the ship (as much as you could have a girlfriend on that ship) and I tell her that everything was a lie and that she should just come back to earth but everyone is still under his power even though he is dead and I realize that they will etch out the rest of their meaningless lives as minions aboard what may as well be an imaginary spaceship. I say goodbye and tell her I will speak to her soon though I am sure I won't.
